Changes to Orphi for AI assistants

This page lists each change to Orphi's connection for AI assistants and to these docs, newest first.

2026-10-05

  • Every connection page has a message to copy into your assistant. The assistant then sets up Orphi, or walks you through the steps when it cannot.
  • New page for AI agents: Connect your user to Orphi. The message points to it, and you can also give its address to any agent.
  • New tool: log_practice records that you practised with your assistant. A practice of at least 2 minutes with at least 4 turns from you counts for your streak on today's date. It never changes your level or your points.
  • The connection is open to every Orphi learner, and the docs pages no longer carry the note that announced its opening.
  • The Orphi skill is at https://useorphi.com/.well-known/skills/orphi/SKILL.md, and https://useorphi.com/llms.txt lists it. The skill tells an AI assistant how to behave with an Orphi learner and how to use the Orphi tools.
  • New pages: one connection page each for ChatGPT, Claude, Muse and other apps, the tool reference, sign-in, privacy, voice and troubleshooting.
  • The tool reference describes every tool. A test checks it against the server's tool definitions, so the page and the tools always agree.

  • The docs open at https://useorphi.com/docs, with an overview, the connection page and this list of changes.
  • Every page of https://useorphi.com has a Markdown copy at its address followed by .md, for example https://useorphi.com/docs.md.
  • A request for a page that sends Accept: text/markdown receives the Markdown copy.
  • https://useorphi.com/llms.txt lists the Markdown copy of every docs page first, then the other pages.
